Royce Rolls - Avalanche Riddim Remix E.P
Featuring four remixes of ROYCE ROLLS “AVALANCHE RIDDIM”: from Rogue State, Goku, Myth Rychards and Royce Rolls, each one taking a different direction, like a skier after a gullet full of Jaeger!
ROGUE STATE of R8 RECORDS brings screaming basslines over the skippy percussion, interspersed with the classic rave style of ROYCE ROLLS, bringing the heavy bass he’s known for with a tribal 4/4 Dubstep smasher of a remix.
Meanwhile GOKU of AUDIO DONUTS comes through with a relaxed jazzy remix reminiscent of Silkie, with saxophones riding surging subs. Up and coming artist Goku has recently been getting hype left right and centre from BBC1Xtra to the Butterz show on Rinse FM, Goku cheeky 8-Bit style comes across strong on this one.
Welsh Juke crew Myth Rychards take the B-side for a full on arp’d out 808 infused juke ride!
Royce Rolls also steps in to throw-down a bass’d out 110 Moobahton version of his own original.
The combined release is a must have for any DJ.
A voyage into the unknown, a place where the mind is left to wander through an intense envelope of sub bass. A landscape of dark planes lulled by poetic verse, brutally interrupted by thrashing drums and roaming percussion.
This is ROAM, the score produced by SION, a duo of inspired producers and instrumentalists, for the Tom Dale Company’s latest production. This is the 2nd outing that the duo have undertaken with one of Britain’s most critically acclaimed contemporary dance companies.
It is an exhilarating score in 3 movements, that explores the notions of travelling, migration, habitat and humanities desire to ‘belong’. The music is somewhat of a eulogy to dance music, exploring primal rhythm and emotions. With lyrics by Brian Eno collaborator Rick Holland, ROAM is poetically guided by the vocals of 3 extraordinary performers, General Bibow (formerly of Soul 2 Soul), Simon Bookish and Chris James. It’s vast sound floats upon what can only be described as a bouncy castle of bass, that relentlessly persue’s it’s home.
No stranger to a pair of decks, Royce Rolls has been showcasing his new sounds over the summer at last-minute festival sets, smashing it up at raves, spinning with Lil Silva and L-Vis 1990 at a working men’s club in Yorkshire and even lighting up a dance floor on a mushroom farm.
Now he’s got a record, and a bleedin great record at that. This dude is going from strength to strength, grab hold and keep on clenching, this is some superb bass.
Still Silver - Diode and Rick Holland ft Chris James
“Once again pairing with Rick Holland Old Man Diode have crafted another smooth soulful mixture of garage and electro.
‘Still Silver’ brings another talent in to the mix in the form of Stateless front man Chris James. This grainy black and white video is yet another offering of style and skill from Diode’s video team, who’s last visual offering was one of TLG’s favourite videos of the year
Out now on WWMusic, this release builds on the success of the projects first single ‘Open Blue ft. Beth Rowley’.
Keep a close eye on these guys as their forthcoming collaborations feature the likes of Onallee (Reprazent), and multi-instrumental and pioneering jazz composer and vocalist Andrew Plummer.” - The London Grind
ROYCE ROLLS returns to WW with this spectacularly destructive double A side release, on a more hard hitting tip than his previous I JUST WANNA LET U KNOW EP. AVALANCHE RIDDIM is a release suitable for any dance floor, with tribal drums and ravey synths, all rolling over tumbling basslines. ARCADIAN RIDDIM is another pounding tribal garage track, with haunting vocals and Indian strings. Both are guaranteed to get the crowd moving!

Deathray Trebuchay - Death Jazz punk explosives - closely linked to the powerful Soil and Pimp Sessions - Deathray are unmissable. Having being bigged up by Lady Gaga for their semi-naked antics @ Glastonbury 2009, these 6 men from East London have turned over venues around Europe from Bacardi parties in Berlin to supporting Fabio and Grooverider in the depths of Wales. A live band of uncompromising qualities, their energy on stage is like a vodka shot to the brain. They released their debut album - The Idiot - in 2010 on indie label, WW Music. A guaranteed storm on any stage!
Deathray Trebuchay - I’m Gonna Kick You in the Ass.
It’s like a vodka party in a hurricane. Dr Sultana shouts into a megaphone, Al throws beer at Chairman Meaw, Hitachi!, Wampa and Spencer Brown, all bloody in their tattered once-new Mexican sea shanty threads, heads on pikes - the perfect accessory. Guy throws cymbals back. They thud wet and buttery against Spencer’s head. They continue to play loud and fast, their best Melt Banana impression, their best Soil & “Pimp” Sessions, Fanfare Ciocarlia impressions, and the people don’t flinch: they dance, gyrate and fornicate. The East End 6-piece, both individually and as a band unit, have tried to calm them down, but it never works. Welcome to the wonderful world of Deathray Trebuchay.
Deathray Trebuchay - 6 Friend’s 6 Enemie’s
Deathray Trebuchay present a terrifying compilation of remixes on their debut single No.6 (re-released on WW Music), featuring mixes by TEED, TM Juke, Sion and Royce Rolls
